I started using products with sunscreen when I was 19 years old, kinda late user because my mom used to buy baby skin products for me. I have very sensitive skin and by using mild formula products, it lessen and prevent the sensitivity from occurring. Until I started learning about right skin care, I decided to switch to products that suits my age and skin type. Etude House is always my favorite makeup and skincare brand, I bought this sun powder few months ago because its on sale. Practically, I just buy the "need to try" products when its half of its regular price. lets start the review=)
PROS
- It has SPF50+ PA+++, high sun protection great for active girls who's always out in the sun.
- Skintone shade, I'm glad that this powder is not purely white. its matches my skin tone.
- The powder it self is silky, fine and smooth.
- Its Matte no shimmer/chunky glitters on it.
- My skin feels soft and smooth after application. You can't even barely see the powder when its applied.
- Keeps my face oil free for a couple of hours( 3-4hrs. without retouching)
- Sets foundation/BB cream really well.(When you used it over your makeup, I'm always wearing it on bare skin)
- Doesn't settle into fine lines
- Not heavy, feels light
- Citrus with flowery scent
- Last long
- Great for sensitive skin(didn't experience any skin rashes while using the powder)
- With soft sponge applicator, I love putting loose powder with brushes and this one can hold and apply the right amount of powder without spilling.
- Small packaging, great for travelling.
- Available at Etude House Stores and online stores.
CONS
- Kinda expensive for a small amount of product.
- Did not notice the WHITENING effect
Will update this post for my photo wearing the powder=)
Etude House O2 White C Sun Powder with SPF50+ PA+++ The powder is encased in a sealed sturdy cylinder plastic with sponge attached to its cover. |
The sponge applicator is kinda soft and hygienic, holds right amount of powder. You need to turn the blue dial part clockwise to dispense the powder. I only turned it twice. |
